Improving Communication Listening: 

    • Does he think technology makes good communication easier?

"Communication is about meaning", He said that technology could be positive, and create a good channel to connect with people around us but also the fact that can create problems eventually. 

    • What four key points does Alastair make about communication?

1. The first key point is that people have limited attention, so our way to communicate needs to be easy to understand as possible. 

2. Communication is about meaning. 

3. Miscommunication is the biggest problem among companies. 

4. It has to contain emotion, and it would work better. 

  • Why it communicates well?

Amazon, to start is one of the companies I admire because they build a big empire. They have been using technology on their side, as a perfect way to connect with their clients. And as we know, clients are in the first place, Amazon knows that, and hand by hand with the right technology adds created the perfect harmony with their customers. 

They know what you like, and based on that the company suggests you new things.

  • What mistakes did the company make, and how could they have improved the customer experience?

Alastair talked about a company that has no communication with their customers by using technology, they only have a kind of voice software but it did not work because that software was not able to answer the client's doubts creating problems with customers and eventually causing a breakdown in the store-customer relationship.

  1. Hi !, I have noticed that our key points are a little different, I wrote: listening is a relevant aspect, we must listen other people, at the same way of telling things is vital, this made reference to: ‘Communication is the two way process.
    For the last: communication has to be effective, if we want to share ideas, facts, instructions… following this point is more probably that these actions will be done.

    For the situation with Amazon I realized that you wrote about the importance about the correct communication with costumers, we can add the way of big data works, because Amazon listens to you and made you suggestions for your previous researches in the platform.

  4. Hi! I just saw your work, and we have different key point, in the key point #3, I put I just about listening and telling, which means, it's only about a communicator and a receiver and you put miscommunication, which is really different from mine
